Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 8 mozzarella string cheese sticks, halved
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 12 small flour tortillas or egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully browned. Drain excess grease and let cool.
- Mix the cooked beef with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Place a portion of the beef mixture onto a tortilla or wrapper and insert a half mozzarella stick in the center.
- Wrap tightly into a ball or bundle, sealing edges well.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Roll each wrapped bomb in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry bombs until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels before serving hot.
Notes
- Serve with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for dipping.
- Freeze assembled bombs for 15 minutes before frying to prevent cheese leakage.
- Can be air-fried at 380°F for 8–10 minutes.
