Description

Banana Pudding Cheesecake is a rich and creamy dessert that combines classic banana pudding flavors with smooth cheesecake, layered with vanilla wafers and fresh bananas.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup banana pudding mix (prepared and chilled)
  • 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
  • 2 bananas, sliced (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Mix vanilla wafer crumbs with melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in vanilla extract, mashed bananas, and sour cream.
  6. Pour cheesecake batter over the prepared crust.
  7. Bake for 55–60 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Turn off oven and let cheesecake cool inside with the door slightly open.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Before serving, spread banana pudding on top, add whipped cream, and garnish with banana slices.
