Description

A creamy and flavorful BLT macaroni salad combining tender pasta, crispy halal turkey bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes tossed in a rich dressing.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 6 slices halal turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 1/2 cups romaine or iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add cooled macaroni to the dressing and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Gently fold in turkey bacon, tomatoes, and green onions.
  5. Just before serving, stir in chopped lettuce.
  6. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve chilled.
