Description

Classic Caesar salad made with crisp romaine lettuce, creamy garlic-anchovy dressing, crunchy croutons, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup croutons (use gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Wash and dry romaine lettuce thoroughly; place in a large salad bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, anchovies, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  3. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until dressing is emulsified.
  4. Season dressing with salt and black pepper.
  5. Add croutons and Parmesan cheese to the lettuce.
  6. Pour dressing over salad and toss gently to coat evenly.
  7. Serve immediately.
