Description
Classic Caesar salad made with crisp romaine lettuce, creamy garlic-anchovy dressing, crunchy croutons, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup croutons (use gluten-free if needed)
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and dry romaine lettuce thoroughly; place in a large salad bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, anchovies, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
- Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until dressing is emulsified.
- Season dressing with salt and black pepper.
- Add croutons and Parmesan cheese to the lettuce.
- Pour dressing over salad and toss gently to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately.
