Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a pie dish with butter.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
- Season beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
- Spread cooked beef evenly into the prepared pie dish.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the beef.
- Top evenly with shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream.
- Pour egg mixture over the beef and cheese.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until set and golden on top.
- Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
