Description

A rich and hearty carnivore bacon cheeseburger pie made with seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, eggs, and melted cheese—no crust, no carbs, just pure savory comfort.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a pie dish with butter.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Season beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  5. Spread cooked beef evenly into the prepared pie dish.
  6. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the beef.
  7. Top evenly with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream.
  9. Pour egg mixture over the beef and cheese.
  10. Bake for 30–35 minutes until set and golden on top.
  11. Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use full-fat cheese for best flavor.
  • Letting the pie rest helps it firm up.
  • Great served on its own or with extra bacon on top.
