Description
Crispy cauliflower buffalo bites coated in a spicy, tangy buffalo sauce, baked until golden and perfect as a vegetarian appetizer or snack.
Ingredients
- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Optional: ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, letting excess drip off.
- Arrange battered cauliflower on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until lightly crisp.
- Mix buffalo sauce with melted butter in a bowl.
- Remove cauliflower from oven and toss gently in buffalo sauce.
- Return to oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes until crispy and coated.
- Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, use an air fryer.
- Adjust heat level by choosing mild or hot buffalo sauce.
