Description

Crispy cauliflower buffalo bites coated in a spicy, tangy buffalo sauce, baked until golden and perfect as a vegetarian appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • Optional: ranch or blue cheese dressing for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, letting excess drip off.
  4. Arrange battered cauliflower on the baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway, until lightly crisp.
  6. Mix buffalo sauce with melted butter in a bowl.
  7. Remove cauliflower from oven and toss gently in buffalo sauce.
  8. Return to oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes until crispy and coated.
  9. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, use an air fryer.
  • Adjust heat level by choosing mild or hot buffalo sauce.
