Description

Tender and juicy crockpot steak bites slow-cooked in a savory garlic butter sauce, perfect for an easy and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and quickly sear the steak bites until browned on all sides.
  2. Transfer the steak bites to the crockpot.
  3. Add garlic, soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Stir gently to combine, then add butter cubes on top.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until steak is tender.
  6. If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch with water and stir into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  7. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or with vegetables.

Notes

  • Sirloin can be substituted with chuck steak for extra tenderness.
  • Avoid overcooking to keep the steak juicy.
  • Add mushrooms or onions for extra flavor.
