Description

An easy chocolate chip cookie pie with a soft, gooey center and crisp edges, perfect for sharing and serving warm with ice cream.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Nonstick spray or butter for greasing pan


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pie dish.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep the center gooey.
