Description
An easy chocolate chip cookie pie with a soft, gooey center and crisp edges, perfect for sharing and serving warm with ice cream.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Nonstick spray or butter for greasing pan
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pie dish.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until edges are set and the center is slightly soft.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep the center gooey.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- You can add chopped nuts for extra texture.
