Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a baking dish, combine cooked pasta with meat sauce.
- Dollop ricotta cheese over the mixture and gently mix.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
