Ingredients
- 2 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat cod fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add cod fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until flaky and cooked through.
- Remove fish and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.
- Return cod to the pan and spoon the sauce over the fillets.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
