Description

Marry Me Chicken is a rich and creamy skillet chicken dish made with tender pan-seared chicken breasts simmered in a luscious sun-dried tomato parmesan cream sauce. It’s comforting, elegant, and perfect for special dinners or date nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thinner cutlets. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add sun-dried tomatoes, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Mix in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until sauce thickens.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice.
  • You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
