A bold and juicy Pineapple Bacon BBQ Burger featuring a beef patty topped with smoky bacon, grilled pineapple, melted cheese, and tangy barbecue sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- 8 slices bacon
- 4 pineapple rings (fresh or canned, drained)
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Lettuce leaves (optional)
- Sliced red onion (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
- Form ground beef into 4 equal patties and season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy; remove and drain on paper towels.
- Brush pineapple rings lightly with olive oil and grill for 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized.
- Grill burger patties for 3–4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with cheddar cheese to melt.
- Toast burger buns lightly on the grill.
- Assemble burgers: bun base, lettuce (if using), beef patty, bacon, grilled pineapple, and barbecue sauce.
- Top with bun and serve immediately.
Notes
- Fresh pineapple gives the best caramelized flavor.
- Use smoky or spicy BBQ sauce for extra depth.
