Description

A bold and juicy Pineapple Bacon BBQ Burger featuring a beef patty topped with smoky bacon, grilled pineapple, melted cheese, and tangy barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 pineapple rings (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Sliced red onion (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Form ground beef into 4 equal patties and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy; remove and drain on paper towels.
  4. Brush pineapple rings lightly with olive oil and grill for 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized.
  5. Grill burger patties for 3–4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  6. During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with cheddar cheese to melt.
  7. Toast burger buns lightly on the grill.
  8. Assemble burgers: bun base, lettuce (if using), beef patty, bacon, grilled pineapple, and barbecue sauce.
  9. Top with bun and serve immediately.

Notes
