Description
A homemade version of the Taco Bell Quesarito featuring seasoned beef, fluffy rice, melted cheese, and chipotle sauce wrapped in a grilled tortilla.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
- 4 large flour tortillas
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef until browned.
- Add taco seasoning and a small amount of water; simmer until thickened.
- Warm the cooked rice and season lightly with salt.
- Heat tortillas briefly until flexible.
- Spread nacho cheese sauce over each tortilla.
- Add a scoop of rice, seasoned beef, shredded cheese, and chipotle sauce.
- Fold tortillas tightly into burritos.
- Grill burritos seam-side down in a hot skillet until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken or beans for the beef.
- Add jalapeños for extra heat.
- Best served immediately while the cheese is melted.
