Description

Savory open-faced biscuit melts topped with a creamy shrimp and crab mixture, finished with melted cheese for a rich and satisfying seafood appetizer or light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (8 count), split in half
  • 8 oz cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 6 oz crab meat, drained
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place biscuit halves cut-side up on the baking sheet and bake for 6–8 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Fold in chopped shrimp, crab meat, green onions, and half of the shredded cheese.
  5. Spoon the seafood mixture evenly onto the partially baked biscuits.
  6. Top with remaining shredded cheese.
  7. Return to oven and bake for 10–12 minutes until bubbly and melted.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use lump crab meat for best flavor.
  • You can substitute cheddar cheese for a sharper taste.
