Description

A savory, flavorful dish combining tender mushrooms and cauliflower, sautéed in butter and garlic, perfect as a side dish or light meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
  2. Add sliced mushrooms and cauliflower florets to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms release their moisture and cauliflower begins to soften.
  3. Add minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for another 2–3 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant and the cauliflower is tender.
  4. If using, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the vegetables and stir to coat. Let it melt for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
