Description
Crispy garlic bread bowls filled with saucy spaghetti, topped with melted cheese for a fun and hearty meal.
Ingredients
- 4 round bread rolls (sourdough or Italian)
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bread rolls and hollow out the centers to form bowls.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture inside and on the edges of the bread bowls.
- Place the bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until lightly crispy.
- Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain well.
- Heat marinara sauce and toss with the cooked spaghetti.
- Fill each bread bowl with spaghetti, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- You can add cooked meatballs or sausage for extra protein.
- Use sturdy bread to prevent sogginess.
