Description

A simple and flavorful meal prep featuring juicy garlic butter steak bites paired with rice and vegetables, perfect for easy and protein-packed weekly meals.

Ingredients

  • 500g steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (broccoli, carrots, green beans)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season steak bites with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in garlic butter.
  6. Steam or sauté vegetables until tender-crisp.
  7. Divide cooked rice into meal prep containers.
  8. Add steak bites and vegetables to each container.
  9. Garnish with parsley if desired and let cool before sealing.
  10. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan to ensure a good sear.
  • Use high heat for a caramelized crust on the steak.
  • Swap rice with cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
  • Reheat gently to avoid overcooking the steak.
