Description

A sizzling one-pan steak fajita skillet loaded with juicy strips of seasoned beef, colorful bell peppers, and onions—perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 400g steak (flank or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season sliced steak with salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika, cumin, and oregano.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining oil and sauté onions and bell peppers for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Return steak to the skillet and toss with vegetables.
  7. Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and stir well.
  8. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve with tortillas, rice, or salad.
  • Add sliced jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Do not overcook steak to keep it tender.
