Description
A sizzling one-pan steak fajita skillet loaded with juicy strips of seasoned beef, colorful bell peppers, and onions—perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 400g steak (flank or sirloin), thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Juice of 1 lime
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season sliced steak with salt, pepper, chili powder, paprika, cumin, and oregano.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Add steak and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining oil and sauté onions and bell peppers for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return steak to the skillet and toss with vegetables.
- Squeeze lime juice over the mixture and stir well.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with tortillas, rice, or salad.
- Add sliced jalapeños for extra heat.
- Do not overcook steak to keep it tender.
- Use cast iron for best flavor.
