Description

A creamy white pizza topped with sweet roasted garlic, fresh spinach, and a rich blend of melted cheeses over a golden crispy crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pizza dough (12-inch)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 whole head garlic
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30–35 minutes until soft and golden. Let cool, then squeeze out the cloves.
  2. Increase oven temperature to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle and transfer to a pizza pan or parchment paper.
  4. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil. Spread roasted garlic evenly over the base.
  5. Dollop ricotta cheese across the pizza, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Top with fresh spinach, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  8. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a drizzle of olive oil or a sprinkle of fresh basil after baking.
  • Use whole milk ricotta for creamier texture.
  • Pre-cook spinach briefly if you prefer a softer texture.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheat in oven for best results.
