A creamy white pizza topped with sweet roasted garlic, fresh spinach, and a rich blend of melted cheeses over a golden crispy crust.
Ingredients
- 1 prepared pizza dough (12-inch)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 whole head garlic
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the top off the garlic head, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for 30–35 minutes until soft and golden. Let cool, then squeeze out the cloves.
- Increase oven temperature to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle and transfer to a pizza pan or parchment paper.
- Brush the dough lightly with olive oil. Spread roasted garlic evenly over the base.
- Dollop ricotta cheese across the pizza, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Top with fresh spinach, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a drizzle of olive oil or a sprinkle of fresh basil after baking.
- Use whole milk ricotta for creamier texture.
- Pre-cook spinach briefly if you prefer a softer texture.
- Store leftovers refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheat in oven for best results.
