Ingredients
- 1 box yellow butter cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 2 cups cold milk
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- Extra vanilla wafers and banana slices for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare cake batter by mixing cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and 1 cup milk until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 28-32 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool completely.
- In a bowl, whisk banana pudding mix with 2 cups cold milk until thickened.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Fold whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
- Layer sliced bananas over the cream layer.
- Spread banana pudding evenly on top.
- Sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers over the pudding layer.
- Drizzle caramel sauce generously over the top.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Garnish with extra vanilla wafers and banana slices before serving.
