Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream or chocolate spread
- 1/2 cup melted chocolate for drizzling
- Powdered sugar for garnish
- Fresh berries for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
- Add eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and lump-free.
- Let the batter rest for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a lightly greased nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour a small amount of batter into the skillet and swirl to form a thin layer.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until edges loosen, then flip and cook another 30 seconds.
- Repeat with remaining batter.
- Spread whipped cream or chocolate spread over each crepe.
- Roll crepes tightly and place seam-side down on a serving plate.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate and dust with powdered sugar.
- Serve with fresh berries if desired.

- Allowing the batter to rest helps create tender crepes.
