Description

Juicy chicken meatballs simmered in a rich and creamy mushroom sauce—comforting, flavorful, and perfect served over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Mix gently and form into small meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté onion until softened.
  6. Add mushrooms and cook until tender and lightly browned.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese until smooth.
  9. Return meatballs to the skillet and coat in the creamy mushroom sauce.
  10. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
