Description
A rich and creamy salmon pasta made with tender flakes of salmon in a velvety garlic cream sauce, perfect for a comforting and elegant meal.
Ingredients
- 250g pasta (fettuccine or penne)
- 2 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried dill or parsley
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Season salmon with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook salmon for 4–5 minutes per side until done, then flake into pieces.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add cream and milk, stirring well.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, dill, and lemon juice.
- Add cooked pasta and flaked salmon to the sauce.
- Toss gently to combine and heat through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overcook salmon to keep it tender.
- Use fresh Parmesan for best flavor.
- Add spinach or peas for extra nutrition.
- Adjust sauce thickness with more milk if needed.
