Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and chocolate chips together until smooth.
- Stir in sugar, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add vanilla extract.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until set but still fudgy in the center.
- Let brownies cool completely.
- Heat heavy cream until hot, then pour over chocolate chips for ganache. Let sit and stir until smooth.
- Spread ganache over cooled brownies.
- Chill slightly before slicing and serving.
