Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate spread or melted chocolate
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for whipped cream)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Let batter rest for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease.
  3. Pour a small amount of batter into the pan, swirling to form a thin crepe.
  4. Cook for 1–2 minutes, flip, and cook another 30 seconds. Repeat with remaining batter.
  5. In a bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  6. Place one crepe on a serving plate, spread a thin layer of chocolate, add whipped cream and strawberries.
  7. Repeat layering with remaining crepes.
  8. Top the stack with extra whipped cream, strawberries, and a drizzle of chocolate.
  9. Chill slightly or serve immediately.
