Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping, divided
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Maraschino cherries for garnish
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Crush vanilla wafer cookies and combine with melted butter.
  2. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish to form the crust.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Layer sliced bananas evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Spread drained crushed pineapple over the bananas.
  8. In another bowl, whisk together vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  9. Spread the pudding mixture over the pineapple layer.
  10. Top with the remaining whipped topping.
  11. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the top and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  12. Garnish with maraschino cherries before serving.
  13. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
