Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons softened butter (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix and knead into a soft dough.
  3. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out dough into a rectangle.
  5. Spread softened butter over the dough.
  6. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for 20 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  11. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
  12. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.

Notes

  • Use warm (not hot) milk to activate yeast.
  • Do not overbake to keep rolls soft.
  • Add cream cheese frosting for extra richness.
  • Let rolls cool slightly before glazing.
