Description

S’mores Cookie Bars are gooey layered dessert bars packed with graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows, and chewy cookie dough for a delicious campfire-inspired treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 8 graham crackers, broken into pieces
  • 1 milk chocolate bar, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Press half of the cookie dough into the prepared pan.
  8. Layer graham crackers, chopped chocolate bar, and mini marshmallows over the dough.
  9. Drop remaining cookie dough evenly over the top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set.
  11. Allow bars to cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep the bars soft and gooey.
  • Use parchment paper for easier removal.
  • Add extra marshmallows on top during the final 5 minutes for a toasted look.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
  • Serve slightly warm for melted chocolate texture.
