S’mores Cookie Bars are gooey layered dessert bars packed with graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows, and chewy cookie dough for a delicious campfire-inspired treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
- 8 graham crackers, broken into pieces
- 1 milk chocolate bar, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Press half of the cookie dough into the prepared pan.
- Layer graham crackers, chopped chocolate bar, and mini marshmallows over the dough.
- Drop remaining cookie dough evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Allow bars to cool before slicing.
Notes
- Do not overbake to keep the bars soft and gooey.
- Use parchment paper for easier removal.
- Add extra marshmallows on top during the final 5 minutes for a toasted look.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
- Serve slightly warm for melted chocolate texture.
