Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 French baguette or Italian loaf, sliced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, honey, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
- Mix softened butter and minced garlic in a small bowl.
- Arrange bread slices on a baking sheet and spread garlic butter on each slice.
- Bake bread for 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted.
- Top each toast with BBQ pulled chicken mixture.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the chicken.
- Return to oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and green onions before serving.
