Ingredients
- 400g ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook meatballs until browned and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add garlic and sauté briefly.
- Add honey, soy sauce, and ketchup, stirring well.
- Pour in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Return meatballs to the pan and toss to coat evenly.
- Simmer for 2–3 minutes until well glazed.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can use ground chicken or turkey instead of beef.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
