Description

Ingredients

  • 400g ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook meatballs until browned and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add garlic and sauté briefly.
  6. Add honey, soy sauce, and ketchup, stirring well.
  7. Pour in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return meatballs to the pan and toss to coat evenly.
  9. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until well glazed.
  10. Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.

  • You can use ground chicken or turkey instead of beef.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
