Description

Honey Glazed Sausage & Potato Bake is a sweet and savory sheet pan dinner featuring smoky sausage, roasted potatoes, and a sticky honey glaze baked until golden and caramelized.


Ingredients

  • 14 oz smoked beef or turkey sausage, sliced
  • 1 1/2 lbs baby potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Spread potatoes on a large baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  5. Remove baking sheet from oven and add sliced sausage to the potatoes.
  6. Pour honey glaze evenly over the sausage and potatoes and toss gently.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for another 20-25 minutes until potatoes are tender and caramelized.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use baby Yukon Gold potatoes for the best texture.
  • Roast potatoes cut-side down for extra crispiness.
  • Add carrots or bell peppers for extra vegetables.
  • Do not overcrowd the baking sheet.
