Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz rice noodles or lo mein noodles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add sliced beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  5. Stir in garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add bell peppers and carrots, cooking for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  7. Pour honey sriracha sauce into the skillet and stir well.
  8. Add cooked noodles and toss everything together until coated evenly.
  9. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  10. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro before serving.
