Description

Flavor-packed hot honey steak and sweet potato bowls with juicy steak bites, roasted sweet potatoes, fresh toppings, and a sweet-spicy honey drizzle for the ultimate balanced meal.


Ingredients

  • 500g steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup cucumber, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Toss sweet potato cubes with 1 tablespoon olive oil, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Spread on a baking tray and roast for 25-30 minutes until tender and caramelized.
  4. Season steak pieces with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Heat remaining olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
  6. Sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked to preferred doneness.
  7. In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes.
  8. Heat gently for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  9. Divide roasted sweet potatoes into serving bowls.
  10. Top with steak, avocado, and cucumber.
  11. Drizzle hot honey sauce over the bowls.
  12. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
