Salted Caramel Pretzel Blondies are chewy, buttery dessert bars packed with crunchy pretzels, rich caramel, and a touch of sea salt for the perfect sweet-and-salty treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups mini pretzels, roughly crushed
  • 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramel candies, chopped
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons salted caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt for topping


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in crushed pretzels, caramel bits, and white chocolate chips if using.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  8. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the top and lightly swirl with a knife.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  10. Immediately sprinkle flaky sea salt over the warm blondies.
  11. Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
