Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups mini pretzels, roughly crushed
- 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramel candies, chopped
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
- 2 tablespoons salted caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in crushed pretzels, caramel bits, and white chocolate chips if using.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the top and lightly swirl with a knife.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Immediately sprinkle flaky sea salt over the warm blondies.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into bars.
